For four days, everything at Münstermann revolved around robotics, programming and 3D construction: At the Digital Engineering Camp – Robotics & Construction, 15 students from the region gained exciting insights into the world of modern technology.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Aufderheide from the University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia, the participants developed their own mobile robots – from programming in Python and 3D printing to the finished electronics. A highlight was the robotics duel, in which the self-built robots competed against each other.
In addition to the project work, the young people were able to gain practical insights into mechanical engineering during a company tour and welding workshop, and to exchange information directly with our employees about training and career paths.
The camp was held in cooperation with the Laurentianum Gymnasium Warendorf, the FH Südwestfalen and the MINT network in Münsterland (MIML).
